While the FCC has already outlined a plan to make broadband a right for all American people, it is not innovative enough. We are already behind the rest of the world in both Internet speed and adoption. We need to be more aggressive with getting super-high speed Internet access to all people across this country. We need to ensure that everyone has access to Internet with download speeds of at least 16 Mbps, upload speeds of at least 4 Mbps, and response times under 400 ms, therefore ruling out inferior technologies like satellite.
