Make Interpersonal Relationship and Communication Classes Mandatory in Public Schools.

Created by S.S. on February 01, 2014

Many would agree that lack of communication and relationship skills is a growing epidemic. Despite the importance that Americans generally place on family life and relationship satisfaction, children aren't taught in school anything about how to have successful relationships.
Interpersonal relationship and communication are something that every one of us uses on a regular basis, with much at stake. We use it more than we use our knowledge about algebra, meteorology, or where is correct to place a comma. Why do public schools require years of math, science, and English, but not a single semester of how to be happy and successful relationships? This type of education would solve a number of problems in our society, as well as increase the happiness and success of our children.
