If and when the Iraqi Kurds declare independence, move to make them a territory of the United States.
The Kurds have been wanting to be part of the United States for decades. They are peaceful and love our country.
They control much of Iraq's oil reserves and, as a US Territory, would be an excellent place to have military bases to monitor the goings-on in the Middle East.
