While some Palestinian organizations have resorted to violence, the Fatah party controlling the West Bank's Palestinian Authority is committed to peace and justice and seeks to engage in diplomacy to gain Palestine it's rightful place among the nations of the world. West Bank into an area known as E1. Settlement of another country is illegal under international law and the UN has directly told Israel to cease settlement and respect Palestine's territory (Resolution 446). The Israeli government is determined to settle more area to gain land and hinder further peace talks as it complicates land division and makes peace almost unreachable.
