This petition is in wake of the Dallas tragedy where 5 police officers have been killed. Police officers risk their lives every day for us and we need to protect them. We see too often police officers being murdered in cold blood simply because they are police officers. If a minimum life sentence is added to murdering a police officer It will protect police officers more and bring justice to the families of victims. This petition would also include the conspires if there is a set plan to kill law enforcement agents. Law enforcement agents include but do not exclude: police officers, federal agents, agents of the government (I.e. Member of the cabinet, president, Vice President, Supreme Court member, secret service).
