Make it automatic for a person on a student visa to be granted permanent residence status(green card) when they graduate

I have many friends in the country that are here on student visas. They are receiving an education here and will soon receive a college degree. Upon graduation many are having to go home because of the numerous hoops they have to jump trough to remain here legally. I am requesting;any person here legally on a student visa, of any classification, be granted permanent resident status. Permanent resident status would be granted upon completion of a degree from an accredited 4 year university in the United States. This will bring the brightest minds from around the world back to the United States as it once was. More educated people lead to new job creation,a strong economy and a better America.
