It should be a crime to deny someone any job based upon their credit; to do so is discrimination and it would ease the burden on families struggling with debt and looking for work. If you have bad credit does it mean you are a lower form of life? I have seen many people turned away from good work because their bad credit; so in light of this shall we make bad credit a crime? How many years should someone serve for having bad credit? If the only way to establish good credit is to work and pay bills then is it not a form of discrimination for a company to deny work in a blatant attempt to keep someone from getting good credit? I suppose if you can decide not to hire someone based on credit then is it legal to not hire someone on the basis of sex or race?
