On a daily basis, millions of Americans receive spam phone calls, mostly robotic, from unscrupulous companies, annoying organizations, and worse, criminals and scam artists.
The National Do Not Call Registry has not done enough to abate this supreme annoyance on the good people of the United States, and the inaction of the Federal Trade Commission in enforcing these rules has not been enough. US residents still receive these annoying phone calls from ever-changing numbers with no chance to opt out of being called.
Therefore we the people demand that the FTC stop its inaction and serve the interests of the people. We further demand that Congress enacts criminal penalties for spam phone callers. Only by stopping the individuals themselves can we stop these shady companies.
