Make it easier to get a therapist than a gun!!! Allow for better mental healthcare regardless of the type of insurance.

It shouldn't be easier to get a gun than a therapist!! There are thousands of people who suffer from mental illness and these people are the forgotten. Many of them have state funded insurance or none at all and those (at least in CA) have extremely poor mental health services. State funded insurance for adults do not cover the cost of counseling services nor are these services are offered. Most mental illness is caused by life events in their lives and counseling services could help these people deal with their issues in a safe environment. And this could prevent tragedies like Aurora theater shooting, Columbine shooting and most recent the Tragic Sandy Hook Massacre. Mental healthcare is violative in preventing these kind of tragedies.
