Make it easily accessed public knowledge on how our state representatives voted on every vote.

Created by A.J. on September 13, 2013

A law was passed stating that to protect members of congress and their careers, they did not have to tell the people HOW they voted on any issues for 15-20 years.

It is entirely backwards to think that it is okay for our REPRESENTATIVES to withhold this information. Their whole job is to vote on their people's behalf. If they wish to hide what they voted for fear of being voted out, then they are no longer voting on the behalf of the majority.

I will not vote for anyone that will not allow me to know what they vote for on issues just to protect their careers. My voice and my rights are in the hands of these representatives because it is the system of government set up in this country. The power is meant to be held in the people, and now it is held in the few of the government alone.
