Our military personnel are ordered, when in a war zone, to not fire unless fired upon. Yet it is legal for officers to kill unarmed Americans if they feel threatened. In war this is tried as a war crime, in America it is becoming a common occurrence. This can not go on any longer. Officers have non lethal equipment, they should not be permitted to use lethal force unless under threat of lethal force. Any officer that uses lethal force against a citizen that is unarmed should suffer federal charges as it is evident they are above local law.
