Make it a federal offense for anyone who holds federal office to accept donations from banks or corporations.

Created by J.J. on January 15, 2013

Banks and corporations have, for too long, been allowed to donate vast sums of money to political candidates and incumbents alike, often times financing all candidates involved. This amounts to little more than said banks and corporations, through their "contributions", purchasing the votes of politicians who are supposed to work for the American people in order to ensure that ONLY their interests are really served in Washington. As a result, America is quickly collapsing economically and its people (the bottom 95%) suffer more and more each passing day. It is morally reprehensible for any elected official to accept monies from banks and/or corporations, as this practice has obviously lead to nothing but corruption, even at the highest levels of OUR federal government.
