The corruption and stalemating of both houses of Congress resulting from allowing lobbyists to constantly cater to our politicians and essentially "bye" their votes and/or future favors needs to stop. For this country to move forward and regain its global notoriety and leadership, we need to stop the corruption of all politicians by making it a crime carrying a stiff sentence, for any politician who gets caught accepting any monies or gratuities from any lobbyists. This would put the control back into the hands of the people, instead of in the hands of the corporations. Part of this would then be to repeal "Citizens United", and take away the status of corporations as being "people".
