Make it a felony offense with mandatory sentencing to delay aircraft emergency evacuation to grab your carry-on luggage

We have now seen several videos of aircraft emergency evacuations in which passengers endanger other passengers lives and safety to grab their carry on baggage during an emergency evacuation. I propose the White House direct the FAA (and work with Congress as needed) to pass an emergency rule mandating a two year felony sentence for impeding an emergency aircraft evacuation to grab personal belongings of any type. Further, cabin attendants should brief this policy, to include mandatory sentencing, during cabin safety briefings and before emergency evacuations (where time allows).
