Religion is neither good nor evil but is a tool and a philosophy to help those that choose to follow each individual doctrine. America's first amendment separates church and state disallowing it within our public institutions.
Lately this has not been fulfilled by countless politicians believing they know more than doctors, scientists, and educators in fields they do not have any factual information to enter an intellectual discourse. They deny how sex works when it comes to orientation, gender, and in the case of a woman's right to an abortion. They also choose to ignore evidence to climate change and want to remove history for convenience.
If we are to move forward as a nation they cannot serve everyone if they only serve themselves. Make religious politicians illegal.
