Students are debt slaves before they even enter the work force. Colleges have connected with big business and banks for profit.
Students sign their life away because we are told that the only way to success is to go to college
if we renege on that promise to pay back the debt the wolves begin to close in. No car. No house. No credit card...and most importantly no job.
Schools now(recommended by government) withhold university transcripts if a student is in debt default; therefore limiting job opportunities(even though they have gotten paid already).
How can we pay back the loans if you don't allow us to get our transcripts to apply for decent jobs?
A better idea would be to allow defaulters to receive their transcripts but put "defaulted on debt" on the transcript
