No law enforcement official either in private practice or in the employ of local, state, or federal agencies should be permitted to shoot an unarmed citizen of this country. Although their may be justifiable cases where innocent bystanders are in danger or a weapon is thought present - these are the exceptions and the fundamental right not to be shot on the street should exist in this country. This is not Baghdad, or Cairo, or Kabul where people have become accustomed to senseless violence by both sides of an altercation.
