Our personal information like email, address, phone numbers and any other information is just as valuable as any song or movie. Yet or information is sold for a profit by companies and organizations to other companies and organizations. We should receive royalties for the sale of our information and be able to negotiate the price for our information. It seems only fair that if songs and movies can’t be shared for free without breaking the law then the sale of our information without consent and payment to us should be illegal as well.
