There have been too many incidences of individuals dying, suffering severe injury, or mortal complications due to a emergency service vehicle (such as an ambulance) not being able to reach its destination in time due to a blockade from protesters or individuals on strike.
We ask that the federal and state governments step in and declare this action illegal, and either punishable by death penalty or permanent long term incarceration, whichever state law permits. Those who block emergency vehicles are actively and willingly planning and carrying out such action, knowing full well of the consequences of such actions ... which is no different than premeditated or attempted murder.
It is time for this behavior to be held accountable for the damage it is doing to innocent people.
