Companies have gotten out of control by charging customers convenience fees for paying for services rendered using various methods (i.e. over the phone, using credit cards). We should not have to pay company's fees of any kind for paying them what we already owe them. It's bullying at its worst and is borderline stealing. Furthermore it adds up for low income families when it gets spread across multiple household bills.
