As aired on 60 Minutes 11/13/11. There is no law that prohibits members of Congress from using the insider information they get on a daily basis to better themselves financially. This is a conflict of interest in which members of Congress become more concerned with their own financial welfare instead of what is best for the country. If it is illegal for business to use insider information for their financial gain, so should it be for members of Congress and all branches of goverment.
