Members of Congress who have signed the "No Taxes" pledge to lobbyist Grover Norquist should be penalized or censured. This pledge is a major reason for the dysfunction and obstruction in both the House and Senate preventing important bills to go forward that would help the jobs crisis, the economy and the plight of the poor and middle class. It should be a viloation of Congressional ethics to sign any pledge to any person, organization or entity that influences how a member of Congress will vote. And it is a violation of the oath that member of Congress made to serve the American people when elected.
