Make it illegal for current and future employers to run a credit check and ask for social networking login information.

The reason for me creating this petition is because I believe current and future employers should not be able to use your Facebook or Twitter login information or run a credit check to determine your eligibility for employment. I believe what we do on social networking should not impact our job eligibility. What we do off the clock is our business and our privacy as long as its within Federal and state laws and doesn't impact the reputation of your employer. Also credit checks for eligibility of employment should
Not be allowed for most jobs American businesses have to offer. Our country is slowly getting out of one or our darkest days for middle class workers and requiring a credit check for employment is just plain ridiculous. Please join me in this movement to better America in 2014
