Make it illegal to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people; similar to protection of race, gender, religion and ethnicity.

Created by R.A. on March 01, 2014

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 made it illegal to discriminate based on race, religion, sex, or ethnicity. Similar action should be taken to protect LGBT+ persons. This includes discrimination in the work place, in marriage, and other issues as they come up. Just as public restrooms are no longer separated by race, public restrooms must be provided to transgendered peoples.
