Make it illegal for doctors/hospitals to bill patients who have not had the problem they went in for resolved -at all-

Created by J.S. on May 23, 2015

If the patient is not helped at all, and is sent right back out the door with some extremely vague diagnosis (basically the same complaint as what they went into the Emergency room with), then it should be illegal to bill them. There needs to be more realistic caps/limits on what a hospital can charge a patient for a useless visit where they shove them back out the door when they find out the patient does not have insurance. If you think this doesn't happen every single day, your wrong. We also need to setup a way for patients to -actually- be able to fight a bill like this. Currently it is almost -impossible- to fight a medical bill, and more so if your poor. The problem was never the insurance companies, it's the hospitals running with their forks. Let's deal with this shall we?
