Make it illegal for an employer to force me to work for no pay and to dictate what I can do at my own home.

Created by S.R. on January 12, 2013

Nurses around the country are forced to work long hours average of 12-13 hours with no breaks not even lunch breaks. The companies automatically deduct time for breaks not received by the nurses. I feel that this is an unfair practice. I feel it is against my rights to force me to work for free. Not only that but medical employers are now starting to discriminate against smokers stating that it is the number one cause of health problems so they will no longer hire smokers next will be those with a BMI above 30. We are going backwards in that discrimination is becoming more and more acceptable. According to ideas such as this since President Obama smokes he is not qualified to work.
