It is ridiculous for a child to have their school lunch taken away and thrown in the trash because they have an unpaid lunch balance. We the People DEMAND action against this disgusting practice! A child should not go hungry just because a parent is unaware of or unable to pay an unpaid lunch balance. It should be a FELONY to make a child go hungry when schools should provide this meal to the children. Sometimes lunch is the only meal a child receives, why should they go hungry because of lack of oversight by a parent or guardian?
