Make it illegal for gas stations and companies to charge 9/10ths of a cent on a gallon of gas.

Created by J.S. on March 22, 2013

Throughout the entire nation gas prices consistently charge 9/10ths of a cent per each gallon of gas above the advertised price. This should not be allowed and I am asking the Obama administration to correct this injustice that has gone unacknowledged for far too long. The fact that a company is able to charge a customer a fraction of the smallest amount of our currency for their product should be illegal. If the final price of the gas bill comes to $10.454, a customer can not possibly pay this amount based on the currency of the United States and the price must then be rounded to $10.46 which is charged to the customer, different than the amount they owed. The fact that this occurrence can happen is outrageous and must be corrected. Gas companies have abused the system for to long.
