To make it illegal for insurance company to deny hearing aid coverage to minors

I am a mom of a 3 year old little girl who was recently diagnosed with hearing loss and because of this said hearing loss my daughter is behind in speech and development. I pay up for some of the best insurance you can get and still the insurance company refuses to pay for hearing aids even though they can be considered a prosthetic or medical device. I don't feel any family should have to have some one tell you that your kid has to suffer because they "don't want to pay for it". All minor children should be covered for any medical device that is going to help them develop skills that all of us take for granted.
