Even after the scientific community has said dogs are the product of the home they are brought up in, certain landlords and insurance companies still ban or charge a penalty for owning a blacklisted dog. This is counter-productive towards the growing issue of overburdened animal shelters.
The government should disallow landlords and insurance agencies from making policies that are biased and erroneous. Instead the government should inform the public the truth about breeds that have been "Blacklisted".
