We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Make it illegal for Law enforcement officers to lie to you in interrogations.

Created by J.G. on October 17, 2016

This country was founded on the idea of creating a fair and free society, and it is common knowledge that police officers are not above the law. So why are they allowed to lie to you during interrogations, but if you lie to them you go to jail? I believe we need to change this as it is unconstitutional and threatens our democracy at its core. First its lying to you during interrogations, Next your being unfairly convicted of a crime because of a coerced confession from facts the police fabricated. We have found that this technique has caused people to be unfairly convicted, because if you tell someone over and over they committed a crime they will believe they did and admit to it due to the stress of the situation. We need to take action while we can.
