Make it illegal for law enforcement officers to prevent or interfere with audio and/or video recording their actions.

Created by A.H. on May 06, 2014

It should be legal to record and publish actions of law enforcement officers. Law enforcement agencies and their officers serve the public and must be accountable to the public. It should be illegal for officers to interfere with recording their actions. Any officer that interferes or prevents or even suggests that recording by a member of the public be stopped, surrendered deleted or otherwise changed, should be fired and banned from law enforcement job for life. The assumption should be that the officer attempted to engage in illegal action while on duty.
