With so much money in politics feeding advertisements, it seems like more and more lies are being perpetuated in the media. Candidates and those supporting them have every right to express why they feel they are qualified for the position they are running for, but they should not be allowed to make false statements either for their candidate or against another to gain support in the polls. If they truly are the better candidate, the facts should decide that, and it is time that we should demand the truth from those who are running to take on the great responsibility of representing us in our government.
