Make it illegal for media outlets to cover and to profit from mass shootings in the United States. The glorification of mass shooters in the US is a largely-ignored ingredient to the prominence of mass shootings in the US and, of course, the media does not discuss this element of the recipe because the media profits immensely from each mass shooting that is perpetrated in the United States -- from each community that is torn apart and has a story to tell.
