Pictures and/or videos showing a mass murderer should be illegal. If people want to kill or murder, that is against the law. If people want to kill at a massive level, they won't get the infamy of having their picture shown on any media outlet at all. The news can report his/her name, but gaining fame will be as hard to reach as we can make it. This could help to end any future copycat criminals that want to follow in the footsteps of mass shooters. If on TV for a trial, they would be treated behind a screen to testify like rape victims. We wouldn't be hiding them, but hoping not to give them any publicity at all.
