Although there are no statistics to point to, common logic tells us that operating a motor vehicle with a pet in your lap is highly dangerous. Not only are you putting the general public at risk, you are endangering your life and the life of your pet. For safety's sake, leave your pet at home of secure them in a pet carrier.
