Political Misguidance - Revenue vs. Taxes
Politicians are now substituting the word revenue when discussing taxes. This is political misguidance at it's best. Indeed government income (taxes) can be defined as revenue, but it should be stated for the public's good when our elected officials intend to raise taxes. In the future any mention of increasing revenue by the government should be stated as increasing taxes to increase revenue. It is insulting as a taxpayer to continue hearing our elected officials discuss increasing "revenue" without addressing the fact that this will be accomponied by a increase in taxes. Taxes that many hard working americans can not afford to pay only insulted furthermore with outrageous goverment spending.
