To make it illegal for any politician to lie, distort mislead or embellish any facts to the people of these United States! It is already a felony to lie to any federal agent and as citizens we demand the same consideration. This law is to enhance the public's better perception and comprehension of complex issues. People need to be given the correct facts in order to make the proper decisions. At this time there is an extremely large abuse problem as it pertains to lying and misleading citizens to feel certain ways about issues and the facts need the total truth in order for all to make informed decisions. It is downright impossible to function properly without the truth. I propose that any lying or misleading facts told by politicians be treated with penalties as that of a felony.
