We all know the argument over gun control is going to be a long, nasty one. It could take years. How about a more attainable goal?
Many of the mass shootings we have suffered as a nation are done for recognition. We should take that away to make it less attractive to future possible shooters. Let's make it illegal for the authorities and/or media to release or report the names of the suspects in mass shootings. Keep the recognition on the victims!
