Make it illegal to save parking spots. Tired of rude neighbors saving a spot! Lets put a stop to it! Sign the petition!

If a parking spot isn't being saved for heating purposes, such as oil, coal, and propane it should be illegal to save a parking spot with a chair, a cone, etc. If they don't want to pay for a no parking sign, then they shouldn't be allowed to save a spot! The police do not enforce the current policy. If people were to get a hefty fine, they would stop saving spots. Lets face it not all neighbors are neighborly. They should be able to obtain a parking permit for a duration of time to save the spot for heating or moving, example: uhaul truck. They also should be fined and towed if taking up more than one parking spot.
