Babies, infants, and children do not have a choice as to whether or not the are exposed to harmful secondhand smoke coming from the parent or caretaker driving them in a vehicle. It should be illegal to smoke while driving with a baby/child in the car because secondhand smoke causes obvious and well researched health risks that the baby/child has no way of escaping.
