Make it a law for all fast food restaurants to display the calorie count of food items on the menu.

Created by J.M. on January 23, 2013

A lot of Americans eat really unhealthy foods. People often get fast food multiple times a week. McDonalds has recently started displaying the calorie count of food items on the menu. If all fast food industries, such as Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Burger King started displaying the calorie count, maybe some people will realize how unhealthy their diets are. By displaying the calorie counts, Americans may order a more healthy option than a double quarter pounder with cheese and a large fry.

Perhaps this could be a start to helping to reduce obesity.
