We are sick and tired of doctors, hospital, drug companies charging outrageous amounts for their products and services. Medical costs would be slashed if the consumer (i.e. patient) knew how much a procedure, service or device cost. Plus the patient needs to know the cost so that they can intelligently decide if the service is worth it or not.
