Make it a law that every home should have at least one gun and firearm safety should be taught in schools.

If people are taught to respect firearms they treat them with respect. If homes are armed, they are less likely to be invaded. When guns are removed from the population, only the criminals are armed and they have free reign over society. meaning they can rob or assault whomever they choose. History proves a well armed society is a safer society. Kids who are exposed to gun are less likely to do stupid things with them. Let's truly fix the gun problem by doing what has historically been proven to be the right thing.
