make it law that if you are a citizen of this country you are required to be able to speak, read and write english.

If you are a citizen of the United States of America you should be required to speak, read and write the English language. There is no excuse for people not to be able to accomplish this. There should not be foreign languages on all of our products. Our children should not be required to learn a foreign language just because some people can't speak English. Make it a requirement for all immigrants that are seeking citizenship in this great country to be able to understand, speak, read and write our language.
