Make it a law that requires all resturant establishments to note the nutritional value of their dishes on their menus

Created by S.G. on January 15, 2013

With America's obesity epidemic on the rise. We feel it is necessary to make it a mandate that all restaurant establishments publish the nutritional value of the dishes they serve on their menus. Too many restaurants try to pass of "healthy" dishes to the American public under the false pretense that their dishes are low calorie, low fat, and low carb.

If the American people had a clear and precise way of knowing the nutritional value of the dishes at their favorite restaurant they could use this information to continue or change to lead healthier and active lifestyles. This would also help contribute to the lowering of health care costs, diabetes, obesity, and set a path for future generations to live a happier and healthier lifestyle.
