We the people of the United States of America have the right to bear arms, So why might I ask is it so hard and costly to get the right to own a pistol in most states? This being said a pistol is still a firearm and is no different in its capabilities than any other firearm. I don't know about the rest of this counry but from a home defence aspect I feel your chance for survival and to protect your famiy would be much greater if you had a pistol in your home. Just remember people guns do not kill people! Some people may not make the best choices when it comes to dealing with their anger. I feel we the people of these 50 states should not have to suffer and go though so much paperwork and spend tons of our hard earned money to then sit and wait for months to find out it your approved.
