Today kids are growing up in schools with really old and slow computers. Most of which only have about 512mb of ram. Which is extremely poor and takes a lot of time up for these kids when they get computer time. What I want is for it to be mandatory to teach kids about these computers, not just let them use them.
We need our kids to know more about technology than we do and we can't expect that to happen unless we start cramming this stuff into their heads now. I can say I grew up with computers in school, but they were no where near as awesome and fast as the ones we have today. Kids in school need fast computers to learn and make use of time in class.
We cannot expect their generation to improve our technology if we do not teach them everything about where it all starts. Computers!
