Most working parents focus more on making money to support their families. We have way too many latchkey children because of this. I believe that employers should allow 1 paid day a month for workers who have children to be there to spend the day with their child. A LIFETIME PASS. Whether it be to go to an afternoon baseball game or just to be there for them when they come home from school. I believe I grew up the way I did because my mom was able to be at home everyday I came home from school. I was lucky. Kids today don't have that luxury .
