Studies show students who are involved in school activities have a better chance to succeed socially and academically. It also shows increases in school attendance and a decrease in inappropriate school behavior. Not to mention the life lessons, team work involved, and character building that takes place in these activities. Lessons that many students are missing out at times from home life. Lastly, the students would receive credit from fully participating in an activities through out the year and those credits will be added towards their "graduation" credits.
